   Introduction
My first interest was for programming languages compilation, but I'm interested in all things related to languages (in general). Following are the drafts of my first Ph.D. thesis subject and the titles of my (confidential) reports of Master of Science and of the last year project at my Engineering School.

9 Sep 98Présent et avenir de la compilation de Java dans les environnements d'IBMpdf
9 Sep 98Syntax-error recovery in interactive environmentspdf

4 Feb 00A framework for rapid compiler prototypingpdf
17 Sep 99Thesis Subject Proposalpdf

Now, I work on different projects related to the understanding and the quality of programs, mainly during maintenance. My main project is code-named Ptidej for Pattern Trace Identification, Detection, and Enhancement in Java. The Ptidej tool suite is a set of tools to evaluate and to enhance the quality of object-oriented programs, promoting the use of patterns, either at the language-, design-, or architectural-levels.
My work on software engineering and reverse engineering is subject of several publications. More on the Ptidej project at www.ptidej.net.
